Handmade Dainty Amethyst & Sterling Silver Necklace ·

A petite, deep purple genuine amethyst gemstone is simply wire wrapped in sterling silver and fastened to a Sterling Silver chain. The ends of the chain are finished with two sterling silver faceted beads and a Sterling Silver spring ring clasp.

The sterling silver in this piece has been oxidized (antiqued/aged) to a deep charcoal finish, then brushed and polished to bring out the silver highlights. This creates a natural, rustic finish with both shine and depth.

This Amethyst gemstone is a lovely, rich purple in color. The focal gem is cut in a "pear" briolette shape, and is faceted for light reflection and sparkle.
