A single genuine rock crystal quartz gemstone has been wire wrapped in sterling silver and sways from a delicate sterling silver chain. The chain is adorned with two Herkimer diamond gemstones and two sterling silver beads, and finished at the ends with two additional sterling silver beads and a sterling silver spring-ring clasp.

The sterling silver was oxidized (aged/antiqued) to a deep charcoal finish, then hand brushed and polished to bring out the silver highlights. This gives an organic finish with depth.

Herkimer Diamond are double-terminated crystal quartz from the Herkimer, NY mines. The focal quartz stone is crystal clear with very few inclusions; in addition, the gem is cut in a fantastic and unique 'cushion' diamond shaped cut. The quartz is finely faceted for excellent sparkle and light reflection. Truly unique and stunning little gems.

Herkimer Diamond & Crystal Quartz are often used as an alternative to diamond for April's birthstone.
