Handmade Wire Wrapped Moonstone & Sterling Silver Necklace Pendant ·

A wonderfully flashy & smooth polished genuine Rainbow Moonstone gemstone briolette has been hand wire wrapped in Sterling silver, suspended from small wire wrapped moonstone gemstones, and attached to a delicate Sterling silver chain. The chain is adorned with additional moonstone gems and terminated with two faceted Sterling silver beads and a Sterling silver spring ring clasp.
The sterling silver was oxidized (antiqued) to a deep charcoal finish, then hand brushed and polished to bring out the silver highlights. This gives an organic finish with depth.

These rainbow moonstones have a semi-transparent white base color with beautiful natural schiller: iridescent flashes of blue, teal, and occasionally orange and yellow colors that change with the direction of light hitting the stones. The moonstone focal briolette is cut in a "pear" shape, and polished to a buttery smooth texture. The small moonstone rondelles are smooth and polished.

Moonstone is one of the birthstone for the month of June.
